Why did my water rate go up?

Water base rate is 29.00 plus $2.00 per thousand gallons.
Sewer base rate is $54.00.
Per Ordinance 296 base rate for water is scheduled to increase on July 1st, 2024.
Rate to increase $2.00.
Per Ordinance 296 base sewer rate is scheduled to increase on July 1st, 2024.
